Aspiring Data Analyst

I am currently an Assistant Head of Sixth Form, with seven years of experience in teaching and leadership. In this role, I have developed a strong foundation in communication, data analysis, and strategic planning. I work closely with students to mentor and guide their academic and personal growth while using performance data to implement strategies that achieve measurable improvements.

My passion for working with data has inspired me to transition into the field of data analytics. Building on my statistical background from university and the analytical skills honed through my career, I am gaining expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI. I can create dynamic dashboards, enhance visualisations with calculated fields, and forecast trends. I am also proficient in SQL for querying and managing data, and I leverage advanced Excel skills for data preparation and analysis.

In addition, I am actively expanding my knowledge of Python, AI, and cloud services to ensure I am well-prepared for future roles in data. This ongoing learning allows me to stay at the forefront of industry advancements and positions me to tackle increasingly complex challenges with innovative solutions.
